Brave like Bison

We were thrilled to welcome one of our former teachers, Adrian Varley, in to speak to 4th-6th Class this morning about resilience and building confidence. Adrian was playing on the Galway football team when he was working with us & we are delighted to see him doing so well & doing such great work with his new business called @bravelikebison that he has set up.

Adrian discussed topics such as social media, peer pressure and building self confidence with the children. He talked about anxiety & stress and how it’s like the weather - it comes & goes.

He talked about tools, skills and practices that people can use in order get over set backs. Adrian reminded us that by focussing on the good things in our lives, that we can enjoy ourselves more.
